What We Collect
DishQuest collects the following data to provide the game experience:
Account & Profile
- Nickname: You choose a public display name. This is visible on the global leaderboard to other players.
- Anonymous Authentication: DishQuest uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication. A random identifier (UID) is generated — this is NOT linked to your real identity, email, or device.
Game Data
- Scores: When you submit a score, the following is stored: your anonymous UID, nickname, score, correct/wrong counts, difficulty, duration, and average answer time. This data is public on the leaderboard.
- Local Game History: Your game results are stored locally on your device and are not shared.
Diagnostics
- Crash Reports: Firebase Crashlytics collects crash stack traces and device model information to help us fix bugs.
- Analytics: Firebase Analytics collects anonymized usage data: game_started, game_completed, score_submitted, and leaderboard_viewed events. This helps us understand how the game is played.
What We DO NOT Collect
- Your real name, email address, or phone number
- Your device’s precise location
- Your contacts, photos, or files
- Any personally identifiable information
How We Use Data
- Leaderboard scores are publicly visible to all DishQuest players
- Crash reports are used solely for debugging
- Analytics data is aggregated and anonymized
Data Retention
- Leaderboard scores are retained indefinitely
- Crash reports are retained for 90 days
- Analytics data is retained according to Firebase’s default settings
Your Rights
You can change your nickname at any time in Settings. To request deletion of your data, contact us at:

Third-Party Services
DishQuest uses Google Firebase services (Auth, Firestore, Crashlytics, Analytics, App Check). These services are governed by Google’s privacy policy.
Children’s Privacy
DishQuest does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The game is rated for general audiences.
